Ridgeway, CO – Truck Driver Loses Life in Crash on US-550 near Ridgway Reservoir at MM 113

Ridgeway, CO (May 30, 2021) – A truck accident reported on Friday afternoon claimed the life of one man in the Ridgeway area. At around 3:52 p.m., on May 28, the Colorado State Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 550.

Reports from authorities show that a 58-year-old man was traveling on US Highway 550 near the Ridgway Reservoir when his vehicle became involved in an accident near mile marker 113. As a result of the incident, the semi-truck rolled over and landed on its roof. The driver was killed instantly in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the man deceased. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
