Jefferson, CO (July 24, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Jefferson area ended in injuries. At around 6 p.m., on July 21, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on West Ken Caryl Avenue.

Reports from the West Metro Fire Rescue show that a collision between vehicles occurred on West Ken Caryl Avenue that caused some delays in the area of South Carr Court. The incident prompted the police to secure the area. Crews spent over 50-minutes clearing the roadway and working to restore the flow of traffic. EMS transported injured victims from the scene to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
