Sarah Boelts
Associate Sarah Boelts practices in Burg Simpson’s Mass Tort Litigation Department. Ms. Boelts joined Burg Simpson in 2024 after working for over three years at a boutique mass tort firm in San Diego, California. There, she specialized in wildfire litigation and product liability cases. She thoroughly enjoys advocating for others and helping her clients through the litigation process.
In 2020, Ms. Boelts obtained her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Boelts competed on USD Law’s Mock Trial team, twice at the nation’s top mock trial competition, the Texas Young Lawyers Association’s National Trial Competition. Ms. Boelts also worked with fellow students in USD Law’s Appellate Clinic to write a Ninth Circuit brief and prepare for oral argument. In 2019, Ms. Boelts worked as a law clerk at the Office of the United States Attorneys. Throughout her time in law school, Ms. Boelts earned multiple awards for her mock trial advocacy as well as pro bono service hours.
Prior to law school, Ms. Boelts attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she obtained her B.A. in Political Science. Ms. Boelts is currently admitted to practice in Colorado and California.
